Application Instructions

The BSN application cycle runs from February 1st to 4pm on April 1st each year. Below is a list of requirements to helps students prepare to apply.

Application Requirements

  • posses an unincumbered practical nursing license. 
  • Complete all prerequisite coursework.

    A minimum grade of 2.5 or higher is required in each nursing and supporting course, with a cumulative prerequisite GPA of 3.0.

    Courses taken previously at another institution must come from:

    1. a regionally accredited institution of higher learning, and
    2. courses must be equivalent to the courses currently being taught at 麻豆村. Courses may have a similar course name, but must be equivalent (not similar) in course content.

    One course may be in progress at the time of application.

  • Apply to 麻豆村 and obtain a student ID number.
  • Have your official transcripts sent to 麻豆村. You will need to do this for each college you have attended.
Note: You will also need to obtain your American Heart Association Basic Life Support Healthcare provider card (Only AHA BLS certifications are accepted for clinical placements in the Nursing program). Visit the 

Immunizations

  1. Complete all required immunizations and tests.

    • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
    • Varicella
    • Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Tdap)
    • COVID-19
