Arlene Pierini
Ms. Pierini is recently retired as the executive director of Communities in Schools of Auburn Washington, a local nonprofit that partners with public schools to bring resources and volunteers into the school to help struggling students get back on track. She previously worked as an attorney, chaired the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce Education Committee, served as president of the Auburn Council of PTAs, and was a member of the Auburn School District Boundary Review Committee.
Ms. Pierini started her education at Wenatchee Valley College, where she earned her associate of arts before transferring to Washington State University. She earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Political Science from WSU and a Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law. Pierini replaces Trustee Claudia Kauffman, who retired from the Board in February 2018.
